Your Pet's Rescue Story
Earlene showed up in our backyard one summer with her friend, a fox. This was obviously a good friend of hers who had lived the street life with her, but once he realized she had found a good place, he left her here to pursue her new life. After a couple of weeks at her new home, we realized she was sick and took her to the vet. She had major liver problems and she stayed in the hospital almost 2 months. We visited her often and welcomed her back into her new home once she was better. She lived several years with her sister, Smokey, who taught her how to live like the Queen she was. She enjoyed a great life until we lost her to breast cancer last year. Smokey decided that this year we would honor her sister, Earlene, and raise money to help other cats get off the street and have the chance to live their best lives too.
