Your Pet's Rescue Story
Henry (aka Hen, Chicken, King of the Cherub Cheeks) came into our lives very unexpectedly. My sister and I went to adopt a dog at a Pet Alliance adoption event at PetSmart, but before we even made it back to the dogs, we saw Henry snoozing at a different adoption station in the store. He was surrounded by lots of boisterous kittens who were getting a lot of attention, but we gravitated to his sweet orange face and chubby cheeks and fell in love. The calm little nugget we found that day has since become the ruler of our household, making sure he wakes the residents of his kingdom up with the wailing sounds of his kind every morning. When he’s not busy yodeling, Henry spends his days chatting with his birdie friends, sunbathing on the balcony, making forts in our box springs, and purring in our laps getting lots of pets. We had no idea what a silly, LOUD, and all around wonderful cat we’d be getting, but we are so grateful our sweet Henry found us that day.
