Your Pet's Rescue Story
Ruthie was a tiny little stray who my neighbor found stuck under the hood of my car last July. I had no intention of keeping her after we got her out, but five minutes with her completely changed my mind. Given her rough start in life, she had a few health issues, and Pet Alliance was there to help us work through them. She has become best friends with my pet bunny, Tessie, and she loves to steal her kale every time Tessie isn't looking.

Ruthie is named after my one of my idols, Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, and in many respects she is a lot like her: small, feisty, and ridiculously smart. Her favorite toys are bottle caps, hair ties, and her toy alligator that she carries everywhere. When she's not running laps through my apartment or keeping an eye on her bunny sister, she enjoys spying on anyone who happens to be walking by outside, especially if they have a dog with them.
