Your Pet's Rescue Story
Princess came into my life almost 2 yrs after my beloved Cookie(previous dog for 10yrs) past away. I went to pet alliance one early morning and couldn't find a small dog. I went home and something was telling me to go to another location and sure there was my lovely Princess. I remember me asking one of the girls that worked there , "do you happen to have a small or medium dog?" And all of the sudden Princess came out from where she was hiding. Her original name was Brittle and just like her name she was sick( heart-worms), weak, and in need of love. She is a masttif/dauchshund. I didn't know what a mastiff was so I googled it and I was amazed of such combination. Despite her condition I couldn't resist to her cuteness and I decided to provide her with a loving and forever home. I called my mom and she said to go for it ,that if it was going to make me happy she would support my decision. The people at the ASPCA were so happy that I was adopting her because they knew how much she had struggle. She was abused and she requires a lot of patience and love.I know she had some babies maybe 2 and they were adopted. Her previous owner left her in the backyard the majority of the time and she has scars that can tell you how much she has suffered. Taking her home was an experience, I was so skeptical and a little scared because I didn't know what to expect from her; but she sat on my lap all the way home and I believe she was so happy to finally feel loved.My baby is now 4 yrs old and she has rescue me in every single aspect. After my previous loss I thought I couldn't love another dog the same way I loved cookie. To my surprise, I was wrong because every day that passes by I am more in love with Princess. She is not just a dog , she is my daughter. I love her to pieces and I am so happy those people that adopted her a week prior me brought her back to the center because we found each other. She definitely brings a tremendous amount of happiness and joy to my life. Her eyes and face simply melts my heart every day. We have been together for 2 yrs now and she lives to her name, like a Princess. We rescue each other and we can't live without each other. She is my Angel and I am so thankful to have her in my life.
