This photo contest is open to everyone - the General Public and ARR volunteers! Everyone has the same chance to win. Just upload a cute photo of your dog or cat, pay a nominal entry fee of $5 and then share, share, share! All pets are eligible - foster pets, adopted pets, owned pets. If your pet wins the most votes by the end of the contest, you'll get to choose from among all 12 prizes. 2nd place will choose from all remaining prizes, and so on down the line until all 12 prizes are spoken for. Votes are only $5 each, and the more people who vote for your pet, the better chance you'll have to win a prize. You can share via email, social media, and word of mouth! After you enter your pet's photo, you'll see a page making it easy for you to share on all the major social media sites as well as email.  That's it - simple and easy!

This is a FUNdraising contest to benefit homeless pets who need veterinary care. All voting proceeds will go to Animal Rescue of the Rockies, a registered Colorado 501(c)3 nonprofit rescue group. Last year 875 lucky pets found forever homes through Animal Rescue of the Rockies' foster home program, and so far this year over 350 have already been adopted. I try to incorporate the mood or feeling I get from nature through color and light. Living in Colorado offers endless inspiration. Watercolor is my favorite medium as it often takes on a mind of its' own and leads the artist in surprising and interesting directions. Watercolor also tends to force the artist to work quickly and creates a sort of dance with the medium. I also dabble in color pencil, pen and ink, oils and scratch board. Please take a moment to look over my portfolio. I also do commission work, portraits of people and pets from photographs and have done a few murals in my day. Working towards the day when every pet has a loving home. Animal Rescue of the Rockies pulls homeless dogs and cats from overcrowded shelters and places them in loving foster homes until their forever homes are found. We promote spaying and neutering to reduce pet overpopulation and encourage quality relationships between pets and their people through behavior resources and training.
