Does your pet have what it takes to be the next President of the Niagara County SPCA or perhaps the Vice President or the Secretary of the Shelter? Will he or she look over fellow rescued pets day in and day out with his/her picture gracing the walls of our adoption lobby? If you think your pet has the makings of a pet politician, enter the Niagara County SPCA’s Presidential Pet Contest between October 18 and November 8, at 9pm. Upload your pet’s picture into the appropriate category: dog, cat or other (rabbits, lizards, snakes, hamsters, etc) for a chance for your pet to become the President, Vice President of Secretary of the Shelter.
After you've uploaded the picture, it's time to campaign! Ask your family, friends and co-workers to vote for your pet! (each vote costs $1). This is super fun and easy! Put links on your Facebook, Twitter, blog, and at the bottom of your E-mails.
Don’t forget to tell your pet’s story! We want to know why he or she deserves to be the President of our shelter!
Prizes
First Place
The pet who receives the most votes will be inaugurated as the second President of the Niagara County SPCA. His or her picture will be professionally taken and hung in our adoption lobby for a year beginning January 1, 2017. You will receive your pet’s photo after December 31, 2017.
The first place winner will also receive a $100 gift certificate to Pearl Street Brewery as well as 2- 3rd row, center ice tickets to a Sabres game in 2017.
Second Place
The pet in second place will be inaugurated as the Vice President, have his or her picture professionally taken and hung in our adoption lobby for one year.
The second place winner will also receive a 43“ TV.
third PLACE
The third place winner will be inaugurated as the Secretary of the Shelter, have his or her picture taken professionally to be placed on the wall of the shelter for 2017.
The third place winner will also receive a dinner for two at Russell's Steaks, Chops and More.
