Pet's Story
Kennedy, formerly Penny, came to NFSAW September 2021 and we fell in love as soon as we met her. She was timid at first and did not like walking around NYC, but now she is a sassy and loving beagle! Like all beagles, she is very smart but only listens when she feels like it, and often has her nose to the ground on walks. I use a wheelchair and she's super accepting and usually chases down others in chairs when someone else is walking her, hoping it is me! My favorite story from her NFSAW days was right as we were adopting her one of the volunteers said to another "oh is Penny leaving us? Maybe one of the other dogs can enjoy the bed tonight since princess Penny usually gets it." She's spoiled, loving and the best!
