Your Pet's Story or Bio
Scout came to us on Labour Day 2016, when I saw her picture on the OHS website. How could I resist that face? She had been abandoned at the vet by her previous owners, picked up by Bylaw Services and brought to the OHS. She didn't like it there. We've had her now for 7 months and she has settled in very nicely. She has learned how to enjoy life both inside and out, off-leash at the dog parks, sitting and waiting on the kitchen carpet before being let out into the backyard (to make sure the squirrels are safely somewhere else) and sitting up on her backside and giving me both paws before eating her meals. She is smart and beautiful. We did her DNA and discovered she is mostly border collie, with some German shepherd, labrador retriever, rottweiler, whippet and even American Staffordshire terrier! She is truly unique and we love her.
