What's the story?
Niko came to us last fall as a young fledgling. This Pigeon is quite a character! She likes to hang out with me in my art studio, sunning herself in the window and flying about the rafters. She has snuck down into the studio twice (thru the cat door) to track paint across the table with adorable but frustrating footprints. Is she making her own art? At any rate she has found her way into this oil painting where she has snipped the head off the rose. Amusingly we all thought she was a boy, even when she was painted as a girl, that is, until she laid an egg!
