What's the story?
Flicky had his life upended when his guardian of five years had to give him up. After being hand-raised and thinking he was human, he had difficulty adjusting. A year into foster care, Flicky became very ill and was in the bird hospital. With no improvement after comprehensive treatment, our own Palomacy Elizabeth checked him out of the vet's and brought him home to either recover with her 911 supportive care or pass peacefully with her hospice. He recovered! His new guardians will forever be grateful to all those involved in his care. My time with Flicky was like seeing a new color. He made an indelible mark on my life and I am forever changed.
