What's the story?
"Percy" self-rescued the day we were saying goodbye to our beloved cat, Sweetie. We brought Sweetie to the backyard for a few hours awaiting the Vet and while holding her in our arms, Percy strutted toward us and stayed 3 feet from us through the euthanasia. The symbolism was an endearing gift from the Universe. Percy spent the Summer sitting next to me as I worked at the patio table, but the hawks noticed him and after many close calls we found Palomacy, built our 4-pidge aviary, and Percy fell deeply for little miss smarty-pants: “Lil Nell.” They love bathtime!
