What's the story?
Amica, Roller Pigeon, was rescued by a wildlife rescue. She was almost all white. She has been a devoted and patient wife to Sochi, King Pigeon. She would leave their nest and ask him for a break. He would start preening as if he was too busy. She would stomp back to their nestbox. Within five minutes he would give her the break she requested--needed to be his idea. The last few years he has mellowed into a devoted partner. I saw him put his wing over her on their roosting perch as they settled in for the night.
