I watched Twirp hatch and grow up on my balcony and eventually leave the nest. I rescued him 3 months later when I was throwing seeds for the pigeons and saw him sitting in the snow looking cold and miserable. From that day on he became my pidge. He was starving when I caught him despite my feeding the pigeons daily. But with a lot of TLC he quickly recovered. He was so quirky and fun. I laughed at his antics daily and he taught me how amazing pigeons truly are. Sadly I lost him last year to illness.
