Having fallen from the nest as a baby and presenting with some obvious neurological deficits, Pickles is a very special pigeon. Somehow, his unique personality is extra sweet AND extra feisty! Since the day he was rescued, Pickles has never known hardship or fear so he has no concept of danger, and loves and trusts people and animals (and inanimate objects) of all kinds. (For this reason he is a great ambassador for his oft-maligned species!) Protecting and caring for this sweet, innocent, wonderful soul is a privilege we are so lucky to have.
