Lu and Plume(shortened from their shelter names, Lumiere and Plumette), are a one year old bonded pair of king pigeons. They were found at six weeks old, very sick, along with seven others of the same who are all thought to have escaped being slaughtered in Chicago. The two love each other so much and besides nest sitting duties, I rarely see them apart. They really do everything together! Lu is more serious and Plume just wants to explore and have fun. These adorable pidgey-buds compliment each other very well and I love them!
