Our first-ever pigeon, Cantaloupe, set us on a course for which we are so grateful. We now have an aviary for him and his wife, Paige, as well as foster pigeons. Pigeons inspired me to try drawing with pastels, as I found it difficult to draw feathers with my usual medium--colored pencils. This is a drawing of the amazing Cantaloupe!
