Killer arrived in my backyard 5 years ago and started this entire bird journey. He is sweet unless you are a Eurasian Collared Dove…he argues with the wild ones at our bird feeder daily. He is happily married Friend, his wife of nearly 5 years, and enjoys building intricate nests made only of pine needles and cut up strips of toilet paper. Killer is so picky about his nesting supplies that I spend a lot of time trying to get the strip size correct - not too fat, not too thin, must curve in a balanced horseshoe shape.
