Meet sweet Beverly, who posed graciously for this photograph taken on Valentine’s Day February 14, 2022. This photo was a surprise gift for her husband, Beau. Beverly is a Homer pigeon adopted from Palomacy and Beau is an adopted, unreleasable Rock pigeon (due to wing injury) from Sierra Wildlife Rescue. Beverly is a shy and quiet bird who caught the eye of several male pigeons in my flock but she choose Beau 💕. They are busy every day nesting and caring for eggs (fake) and each other.
