Talula came to us as a senior girl from PAWS in 2015. She had survived years of neglect, an unknown number of puppy litters, broken teeth, scarred corneas, and a heavy load of heartworms. Through it all, she was the happiest girl and remained so until her passing last November. Her snoring was legendary and we miss her big toothless smile every day. Old dogs are the best dogs and every moment we got with her was the best blessing. PAWS drove her all the way to Kentucky for us and I’m always in awe of how hard they work for all the dogs in their care. Talula ensured we’ll always have a special place in our hearts for senior dogs. All dogs should be so loved.
