From Robi, his mommie. Bart was born on May 15, 2000. At six weeks of age, I adopted him from a rescue center. Bart immediately was attracted to people and other dogs. He loved everyone and I took him everywhere with me. He loved going through agility training and doing tricks. He was a people person. Bart enjoyed his life with his companion who was also a rescue. He was in few television Petco safety commercials and he was on stage at Bang Studio in Los Angeles doing what he loved best. Bart was our life and made it so enjoyable. In August, 2013 he fell very ill. We found out he had stage 4, Abdominal Lymphoma and only had maybe two weeks to live if we did not do chemo. We decided right then to start the treatment. He went through six months of modified CHOP chemo with CCNU and Prednisone. In January 2014 he was in full remission and we were so blessed with that news. He was a trooper and a fighter and he wanted to bring message of Hope to others to never give up. September 4, 2016 after going through a battle of bronchial lung issues and collapsing trachea. Bart passed away suddenly of a heart attack. I promised him I will continue to tell his message of Hope to others to never give up and always keep fighting. We love you forever my sweet
