Hi! My name is Misha, and I am a shepherd mix. I was adopted from an animal shelter by my parents as a puppy. I loved my new family! When I was only three, we found out I had lymphoma. The vet said I only had 6 weeks to live without treatment. My parents felt that I needed more time, so I underwent 6 months of CHOP. I had a wonderful 12 months until my cancer came back. I am now undergoing my second round of chemo, but my parents know it is only a matter of time until my cancer will return. They ended up finding Dr. Edmund Sullivan who has been working on a new treatment called adoptive immunotherapy that has the potential to give me more time than any chemotherapy drug. My parents are trying to raise money for me to complete this new treatment, so I can live out the rest of my life and help advance this ground-breaking research.
