How does this photo represent the theme – Life is Better Together?
Both in danger in different parts of the country, Lurlene and Wren were an unlikely pair. Lurlene, hit by a car and paralyzed at a young age then abandoned by her owner. Wren found as a stray with bony lesions causing pain and deformities in her legs and head. Their hearts were bonded in survival when they came to Mayday and they haven't looked back. These two feisty girls share a joy of life and a tendency toward mischief. Their individual paths have not been easy but they are survivors and best friends!
