Pet's Story
I saw an advertisement in the Herald Times for a Golden Retriever puppy as I was driving home from French Lick. I had lost my long time Golden recently and was not particularly ready to get another dog but she stole my heart. She has been my shoulder to lean on, my hiking buddy, my traveling buddy and most of all the most unconditional, loving genuine friend.
B Dog was brought into the Brown County Humane Society and knowing that I love Golden Retrievers, it was brought to my immediate attention. I loaded Sunshine up in my car and we went to meet him. He was so skinny but had a huge head and an even bigger heart. I let them sniff each other out... B Dog has been a part of our family ever since.
They both love roaming through the woods, creeks and frolicking in nature. They enjoy traveling in the back of my car to visit our family in Waynesville, North Carolina and wherever else I might decide to take them. They are sweet and kind to every person they encounter and have brought so much joy to our lives.
