Pet's Story
Otto came to Placing Paws in the fall of 2008. He was the first medical case that we took in. Otto came into a rural Indiana shelter after he was seized from a neglectful owner who tied him up outside. Fortunately for Otto, he came to us just before he was to be euthanized at the animal shelter. As a result of his lack of care he developed a condition that caused him to lose most of his hair. After spending 78 days at the vet, with nutrition and lot's of care, Otto was healthy and his coat grew back. Otto was adopted by a wonderful couple after being in our care for 6 months. Otto had many wonderful years with them before going to the rainbow bridge.
