Pet's Story or Bio
Sadie was basically a pet all her life. Her owner (in Arizona) got sick and came to Richmond to be with her mother. The owner died, the mother kept Sadie, but when the mother had to go into assisted living, Sadie was abandoned in the house. Relatives contacted a small rescue group - Hickory Hill K-9 Rescue, who took Sadie in. I found her on line and adopted her to be a companion to Maddie, my scared-y pit bull. Sadie taught Maddie to use the doggie door, walk on a leash, and bark.
