Your Pet's Story or Bio
Daisy is a rescue. She was formerly know as "Bootstrap". She and her mom, Bingo, were surrendered to a high-kill shelter in Tampa, Florida. She was on death -row. A rescue group came in and pulled them both and we were lucky enough to adopt her! She is truly a wonderful part of our family. She is such an amazing dog that we even had her certified as a Therapy Dog through Bright and Beautiful Therapy Dogs. Several times a month, she visits with students in area schools and libraries. She not only makes us happy but she spreads joy to everybody she meets. She went from a doggy on death row to an adored member of our family. Additionally, through her Therapy Dog work, she is helping to spread the word about the importance of adopting pets from shelters and doing a great job of making people smile!
