Pet's Story/Bio
We rescued Barnaby from a neighborhood friend whose dog had had puppies. The lady was overwhelmed & could not take care of Barnaby along with the other puppies. We have had him since he was 6 weeks old. We had planned him for our son to take to college with him, however, as teenagers are, he did not properly take care of him, so we drove down and picked him up & he has lived here for ever since then. My son still lives at home & has graduated college but moved back in with us for monetary reasons. Part of me is still very much alive & I think happy, however we had to put our other dog Dahlia, down because she had bladder cancer & her kidneys failed this past week October 19, 2016. We hope to get him a friend soon because we believe there's no such thing as "only dog." Thank you very much for listening to this gloom & despair, although I think Barnaby will do just fine with a new friend.
