Pet's Story/Bio
Duchess & her brother Duke were rescued from a farm based puppy mill in northern Alberta in 2014. They have adjusted well to the city life in Calgary and enjoy stealing treats from their vegan ani-parents! Duchy enjoys showing off her repertoire of tricks like sit/wait/lay down/submit/walk/stand pretty/dance/sing and others. She has also learned how to run and get help from whoever she is told to alert in case of an emergency with her Mommy who is currently battling adrenal cancer. She enjoys long walks and loves being pampered & having her little toesies clipped and painted. She also has a dresser full of dresses and pijamas (yes, she actually picks out her own clothes when she wants and demands her jammies at bedtime when Mommy gets into her nightgown too.) She's a momma's girl and shadows her Mommy everywhere she goes. She's incredibly intelligent and you'd never know she was rescued from the puppy mill where she was born!! She is very loved and spoiled rotten like the princess she is!
