I was at the shelter one day about 3 years ago to pick up a dog for a rescue group. as the attendant was removing the dog from the kennel, I noticed this beautiful face looking up at me. She was so sweet and calm. the attendant said she was next on the list to be put down. she had been used as a breeder. Her breasts were still filled with milk..Long story short, Maggie went home with me! She has been the BEST companion a human could ask for.
