Pet's Story or Bio
Chuy and her brother belonged to a Belizean family south of the town of San Pedro. Like most sweet little girls on the island, Chuy was not spayed. She was going to become a mother at a very young age. Her family could barely feed and care for themselves so they did the most honorable thing and took her to SAGA. Chuy was in bad shape. She was infested with fleas and ticks and severely undernourished. The loving folks at SAGA bathed her and cleaned her up. She was fed, loved and cared for.
Her forever Mom, Miss Mimi, moved to the island in May. By the middle of May, Miss Mimi was so lonely for a furry companion. She came to SAGA with a little direction from the folks at Pampered Pets, and Dawn. It was love at first bite, they didn't name her Chuy for nothing.
Chuy now lives a charmed life. She lives in a nice house, has a queen sized bed to sleep on, enjoys an occasional piece of bacon if she sits pretty and has a mom who loves her. She goes for walks on the beach everyday and is well known in the area. All donations towards Chuys votes will go back to SAGA to help with the spaying and neutering of the many, many strays on the island.
