Rudy (a.k.a. Aardvark)

A little about me...
Since adopting Rudy two days before Christmas 2022, it's been an adventure. We continuously run into people around town who recognize him. "Is that Aardvark?" is a common refrain (his name at the shelter). Others go out of their way for a visit, attracted by his physique - large head relative to his short legs and long torso (Pit Bull, Bassett, Corgi?).

He is our first Pit Bull mix and we are meeting so many lovers of the breed -- and we get it! Rudy's affable nature is an instant mood booster. He is a friend to humans, dogs, and cats and is happiest with a ball in his mouth and another underfoot. Then, as the sun goes down, Rudy transforms into a lap dog. He is the perfect companion.
