Taken in by Second Chance with a broken arm and in desperate need of love, Basil came into our home and gave us something we never thought WE needed. She has taught us that, even in a sometimes cruel and harsh world, life is precious and worth a fight. Her sweet disposition and trusting nature reminds us that the past may shape our current selves, but it is not all defining. You may have seen Basil hiking on Flagstaff's urban trails, strolling the city streets, or taking that occasional sip out of Late for the Train's complementary water dish.
