Why I am a Ravishing Rescue?
Hi! I’m Jade! I was rescued along with my sister Ivy by Stay Cat Alliance from a city shelter when we were just a couple weeks old. We didn’t have a mommy so we needed to be bottled fed around the clock. We were pretty weak when we were kittens and needed someone to take care of us. Our foster mom, Monique, gave us a cozy, safe home where we could finally relax and not feel so scared. She took such great care of us. Monique needed to go out of town for a couple days so she asked her friend who LOVES cats (and all animals) if she could take care of us for a couple days. We were only 5 weeks old and still tiny at only about 550 grams. Well, that good friend of Monique’s fell head over heels in love with us along with the rest of her family and we felt an instant connection to her too. So, when Monique returned from her trip our now mom took over fostering us until we were spayed and SCA finalized our adoption. The rest is history! My sister Ivy and I are now 1 1/2 years old, healthy, strong, loved and cherished by our family. I am quite special and unique…Did I mention that I have thumbs? I am a polydactyl cat, which means I have extra digits on my paws and it looks like I have thumbs. I actually use my paws like hands. My tail is also unusual….It is bent and a little crooked, but oh so cute! My family and friends love my uniqueness! We also have two dog siblings and 3 rabbits! Yes, we ALL get along great and love each other very much!
