Why I am a Ravishing Rescue?
Duds was found with her littermates tied up in a bag thrown in a dumpster as a newborn kitten. She still had the umbilical cord attached. We were contacted by a rescue to see if we could bottle feed Duds and a sibling. Of course we said yes! Duds and her sibling are both Siamese Manx. They both thrived and our first child was born when Duds was just 6 months old. They became constant buddies to our then newborn baby. Duds is a very calm and affectionate cat. She is loving and gentle and sleeps on my head every night. She has been through many hard things having to have eye surgery three times. She has also helped our family through many hard things too like COVID isolation, the death of my father from cancer, and the traumatic loss of our other cat. Duds has been a constant companion and a source of great love. I am so thankful she is mine and I am hers. I love you Duds!
