Why I am a Ravishing Rescue?
I met Jojoba along with his twin sister, Jicama, in the kitten nursery where I volunteered back in 2019. They were bottle babies and had just been weaned and were the sweetest sibling pair I’d ever met so I decided to foster them. After about 2 weeks it was pretty clear they had found their forever home with us. My husband and I officially adopted them 2 months later when they were finally old enough. They were the most loving and crazy duo ever! They did everything together and we all had so much fun. Jojoba loved to cruise around on my husband’s shoulder, which always amused our friends. We lived happily together until May of 2021 when our little Jojoba got out one day and was never seen again. We searched everywhere for him, putting up hundreds of flyers all over our neighborhood, offered a reward, and even consulted a pet detective and pet psychic to help us find him. We were absolutely devastated to lose him and still miss him terribly. I pray for his safe return every night and hope that wherever he is, he is happy, safe, and so, so loved. This entry is in my sweet boy’s honor. I love you so much my little Jojoba and you will always be in my heart. Remember, that it’s never too late to come home.
