Suzy responded to an ad for a Yorkie in the Sarasota newspaper. She and a friend went to a meeting with the breeder who told Sue that the dog had all its shots and was in good condition. After getting her home we noticed a number of problems and called the breeder. She did not send the records so I asked for the vets name so the vets could exchange information. No response. I did some investigation and found out this was a puppy mill and reported it to the Manatee animal control. The breeder offered to take back the dog but once in our house, we would not consider returning the dog now named Charlee. Over the next few months we spent upwards of $1000 to fix her problems as she has proven she is not just a good pet but a great pet.
