A little about me...
For years, we enjoyed two unique and warm personalities at the shelter. Both Lionel and Jackson welcomed every guest who visited the counter at the McCook animal shelter at 100 South Street .

We will never forget this dynamic duo together, well lets call them the "mello duo." They were such good friends, wonderful, well behaved volunteers who helped the homeless and abandoned animals in southwest, Nebraska.

Thank you for remembering both Lionel and Jackson who will always be award winning calendar cover cat models in our hearts.

This photo of Lionel and Jackson earned top voting cover model cat honors for the vert first official McCook Humane Society 2012-13 calendar. Every former calendar cover photo winner earns a spot in the "Paw of Fame" which is a collage poster that forever remembers the top dog and top cat calendar vote getters and their owners for being such a giant supporter of our southwest, Nebraska animal shelter mission.
