Like many block headed puppies, Chopper's life nearly ended before it ever had a chance to begin. He was literally minutes away from a fatal shot before being rescued from a Florida clinic. He’s been a Navy dog since he was adopted at six weeks old and has been "stationed" in Pensacola, Baltimore, and Virginia Beach. Chopper loves living near the ocean, riding in an open Jeep, helping cook, making new dog and people friends, and visiting Grandma in Alabama.
