Lily is truly something special. I've known her since she was a little kitten, but she was my sister's accessory, soon abandoned as she got older, I took her in. The vet says that she has the temperament of a male, since she's always purring, even if you push her around on the floor like a mop. This July we relocated her to the Island, and in a thunderstorm a week later she disappeared for 35 days before we found her 5 blocks away, still well groomed, charming, purring yet skinny. Lily now spends her days keeping the rat population low and sleeping on my feet with her sister whom she doesn't often love all that much. Her weight has come back but she will cover your mouth with her paws if you tell her she's fat.
