Help the animals of Victoria Pet Adoption Society by sharing your entry and encouraging others to vote, vote, vote! All funds raised will directly support the health care needs of animals awaiting adoption at VPAS.
- Submit a photo of your pet(s). Include your pet’s name(s) and age, as well your name and address (address will not be displayed only city & province), and an introduction telling us a little something about your furry friend. If your pet is a rescue, please consider sharing your rescue story. Please limit intro to 150 words or less.
- By submitting a photo to this photo contest you give Victoria Pet Adoption Society full permission to reprint your photo(s) in any media that we feel may help raise funds or awareness for homeless pets in our community, including, but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, our website, and printed materials.
- All entries must be the original work of the entrant. You must own the copyright to the photograph.
- Photo entry and voting for the contest begins October 9, 2015 at 7:00am PST and ends October 31, 2015 at 10:00pm PST
- An individual may submit more than one entry; however each entry must be of a different animal.
- Multiple pets can appear in one photo.
- All photo entries must be of domestic animals such as dogs, cats, pocket pets, exotic pets and ‘pet’ farm animals.
- If a photo contains a human individual, you must be able to confirm and provide written authorization from that person. It is preferred that the photo not feature individuals.
- Any photo submission that is deemed of inappropriate or inhumane content, will be disqualified. Donations collected will not be refunded.
- Donations made in support of an animal are valued at one vote for every $1 CAD donated.
- All winners will be determined by electronic vote tabulations under the supervision of GoGo Photo Contest, whose decisions are final and binding.
- By participating in the Contest, entrants agree to release and hold harmless VPAS and their respective officers, directors, representatives, volunteers and agents from and against any claims of any nature arising out of participation in the Contest or receipt or use of any prize.
