Welcome to West Columbia Gorge Humane Society's "Shelter Pets are the Best!" Photo Contest.

Shelter animals make great pets and become devoted and grateful companions. When you adopt your new pet from a shelter or rescue, you are helping save a life and giving that animal a deserving home.

We want to acknowledge all those who have given a shelter pet a chance for a new life and loving home. Celebrate your shelter pets and how great they are by entering their photos in our contest. Help us show how shelter pets are the best!

Enter each photo for $5. You can enter as many photos as you like. Once you have entered your photo, share your submission with family and friends, so that they can vote for your pet to win. It costs $1 per vote. The photos with the most votes at the end of the contest are the winners.

Professional Photo shoots by Taylor Made Photography or Keepsake Portraits for you, your family or pet will be awarded to the First Place Dog and First Place Cat photos. Pet gift baskets will go to the Second Place Cat and Second Place Dog photos.
