1 FUR 1 Foundation is an innovative nonprofit on mission to help animals and heal people in need of alternative treatment plan. We've designed our animal-assisted programs to positively impact those most at risk of losing their assistance benefits; children and seniors with disabilities. Just last year, 1 FUR 1 provided
1,971 animal assisted activity (AAA) and therapy (AAT) sessions, free-of-charge (
click here for details). These efforts
impacted over 10,386 children and seniors with the help of 46 animals across 50 facilities. Although all of our animal-assisted therapy, activities and engagemements are free-of-charge, we don't receive government funding and solely rely on the generosity of the public.
