She could no longer produce puppies because of cystitis, so they just dumped her at the local shelter. Desert Harbor Doberman Rescue drove a long way to pick her up. She required surgery and well, we just had to bring her to our house. I had lost a very special female doberman about a year prior and I could not image bringing another female into the house but when she came and met Sam and plopped herself on the couch, I knew she was home.
