Your Pet's Story
We were able to find out through microchip investigation that little Sophie was let go on the streets of Orlando in August of 2008 and was picked up by Animal Control in DeLand that November. Her hair was so matted, she had heartworms and fleas, her paw pads were raw and she was terrified. We found her at the shelter and took her home. She didn't bark or make a noise for 3 months. She just rested. In the 12 years since, she has been showered with love, pampered, spoiled, and is the sweetest, most loving dog. She is most definitely our second child and we can't imagine a home without her. She is now going on 14 years old. She loves car rides, peanut butter, and having her belly brushed. She has the most beautiful brown eyes. She is Sophie Post. Best little doggie ever.
