Pet's Story or Bio
My name is Santino, but my pals call my Sonny. Named after the Godfather character, I am a pro bug hunter, love to play wrestle, and talk to anyone who will listen (I meow, howl, bark, and also quack). I'm not normally this cranky-looking, but my mom woke me up when she snapped this picture of me napping. I like to play fetch, drown my toy mice in my water bowl, and make biscuits on fancy blankets. I also love going for long walks outside on my leash and exploring tiny spaces (like behind the refrigerator or under the bed). Taking trips on Amtrak to visit my family is also fun, especially that one time I escaped into the train car from my carrier! I'm a big man, clocking in at about 16 pounds and covering about 36 inches, tail included! I usually start my days by singing (screaming) for my breakfast, then I hop in the shower with my mom or lay in the sink while I wait for a morning snuggle. Now that it's not so hot outside, I like spending evenings on the balcony in my harness. My mom brought me home from a mobile adoption event last November and we have been inseparable ever since. Big thanks to HRA for taking such good care of me, introducing me to my mom, and loving all the other amazing kitties and pups who need help!
