Pet's Story or Bio
Our beloved Cakes was found on the side of the road in South Carolina. She had been shot and that is how she subsequently lost her leg. Given this tragic past, one would not blame her for being slow to trust us human beings. But she is not. Her spirit, kindness, and empathy make her a shining example for us all.

As a Nats fan, Cakes did not take her bandana off the entire World Series. Thanks Cakes! We love you so much!
