Pet's Story or Bio
Otto was found by Animal Control on the streets of DC at just 4 weeks old. He was lucky to end up at HRA, where the behavior director saw some issues that may put him at risk for successful adoption and took him in as a foster so she could work with him. At 11 weeks old, he found his furever home with his parents (who used to live in DC) and moved to Baltimore to live with his three cat sisters. By the way, Otto got a middle name because it’s a rule in his family. His is after his parents’ favorite DC native — Henry Rollins. He is now 3 years old, only has 2 cat sisters left (his bestie passed) but now has a new puppy sister GiGi to keep him on his paws. He is a handful, but he brings so much joy to his family and has become besties with his new sister. Otto is his momma’s favorite snuggler, likes to spoon & is the most loyal of companions - he even tolerates his mom’s silliness with his Insta (@sir_ottsalot). He likes to educate about, and advocate on behalf of, pitbull-type pups (his DNA test showed that his pittie type is actually 100% American Bully) and support HRA in any way his family can. And by the way, his foster mom? Yup ... she’s part of the family as his “godmomma.” Once you know Otto, you want him to stay in your life.
