Jelly Bean’s entry to life wasn’t easy. Born to rescue mom, Rosie, likely hit by a car days before delivering, Jelly had more challenges ahead. Jelly Bean, his mom and his littermates were fosters of AARCS in Calgary and had a tremendous team (and donors) behind them.

Skin too red and body too delicate, at 10 days old, tiny Jelly Bean was diagnosed with flat-chested kitten syndrome. Surgery, a splint plus love, he is now 2 years old, a happy, healthy hilarious family member.
