Honey was not only the first pet I adopted, she was my first pet. The decision to adopt changed my life - I have always loved animals, but I couldn't have asked for a more perfect first cat. Not only did her sweet soul steal my heart and those of my family (who were previously not cat fans), she has propelled me to be an advocate to always adopt animals. Since Honey has been in my life, I have only adopted other pets, and plan to only adopt for the rest of my life. We must take care of those already in need. She gave me the amazing gift of realizing everyone deserves a second chance, and I promise to hold that value.
