A little about me...
On December 31st Max and his sister, Cookie, needed to be fostered quickly, so they came to live with me on my 20 acre farm. The LRDR group could not have been any more supportive with guidance and help for a new foster volunteer. Soon Max and Cookie became part of our household's pack made up of 3 other dogs, including my dad's chocolate lab rescue who I inherited after my dad's passing. Max in particular has become the "hall monitor" announcing when it is time to go out, saying good morning to everyone, announcing when anyone of the pack moves too fast when a horse walks by and anything else he feels like barking at. He also must have the last word in every conversation. I can tell that he and Cookie were loved but life changes happened and they were fortunate their previous owners turned to the LRDR. Max is a joy who keeps us all laughing and a blessing to our household. We can't remember what life was like before this bundle of love adopted us.
P.S. I adopted this bonded pair and am what is called a foster fail. I am okay with that title.
